Microbial Facility Consulting Services

Nordic Analytical Laboratories provides on-site testing for microbials to help companies understand where potential contamination sources are coming. We offer the following types of microbial contaminant testing through consultations:

• Airborne Microbial Test: The airborne microbial load in your facility has an enormous impact on your final product's cleanliness. Temperature, airflow, humidity, and air purification efforts all impact airborne microbial load.
• Surface Testing: Yeast and mold can be found almost anywhere in your grow. Certain areas like exposed wood or especially moist areas can act as a persistent source of contamination. Surface testing helps identify these problem areas. Clone rooms, vegetative rooms, flowering rooms, trimming areas, and curing rooms are recommended for this study.
• Species Information: Certain species of mold can be more devastating to your crop than others. If you are concerned with mold, knowing the species may help in a treatment plan. While we cannot identify all types of molds, certain types can be identified by appearance and colony morphology.
• Strain Specific Analysis: Certain strains of marijuana are known to have more problems with microbial growth than others. By analyzing past data, we can identify these potential problem strains.
• Environmental Monitoring: Track your facility's environmental conditions over time to better combat failures. Yeast and mold levels and the curing process are impacted by environmental factors, so it is recommended that these tests are repeated in the different seasons. A site map is requested for accurate planning.
